The British supercar brand McLaren is planning to enter the Indian market and setup its first dealership in Delhi, which is the official dealer for brands like Ferrari, Lamborghini, Rolls Royce, BMW, Mini and Aston Martin in the capital. However, there has been no official announcement regarding this. McLaren currently has 79 sales and service outlets spread across the world.
Now, India’s first right-hand drive 720S was delivered in Pune. Besides this, a couple of left-hand drive 720S’ have already been imported into the country on a temporary basis. While, the 720S is part of the Super Series, the Sports Series is brand’s entry-level line up which includes the 540C, 570GT, 570S Coupe and 570S Spider.
McLaren sports car is expected to be priced around Rs. 2 crore and is likely to be the more popular choice among Indians. McLaren is targeting to sell 10 units annually in India.
