Suzuki Motorcycle India unveiled the Suzuki Access 125 special edition at a fashion show which was held in collaboration with Jack & Jones clothing last week. The company has launched the special edition of the Access 125 in India for a starting price of INR 55,589, while the one with disc brake costs Rs. 58,900(Ex-Showroom, New Delhi).
The Suzuki Access Special Edition will continue to be sold alongside the regular scooter. Suzuki believes that the Special Edition will help it achieve more sales during the festive season as more and more India buyers prefer to buy new vehicles during this auspicious time.
The special edition gets minor cosmetic updates, including maroon coloured leatherette seat cover, a special edition logo, round chrome rear view mirrors, and brown floorboard. The special edition model can be opted only in the Pearl Mirage White colour.
The Suzuki Access 125 special edition is mechanically no different from the standard Suzuki Access 125. It measures 1,870 mm in length, 655 mm in width and 1,160 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 1,265 mm and a seat height of 780 mm. Powering the scooter, is the 124 cc SEP (Suzuki Eco Performance) single-cylinder engine that develops 8.7 PS (8.58 hp) at 7,000 rpm and 10.2 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. Drive is sent to the wheel via a continuously variable transmission.
