According the media report, the skoda Kodiaq to be launched in India on October 4, 2017 but has not yet confirmed this
Kodiaq is the Skoda’s first 7-seater SUV will be launched in India and with it, the company takes on the likes of the Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour and even the Volkswagen Tiguan (though it is a 5-seater).
Skoda Kodiaq is expected to equip with features such as LED headlights, park assist, touchscreen infotainment with Apply CarPlay and Android Auto, ABS with EBD and airbags.
The Kodiaq is expected will be offered with a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine that produces 141 BHP and 340 Nm of torque. The same engine is found in the Volkswagen Tiguan. While an all-wheel drive variant is likely to be offered with a 7-speed DSG gearbox, the entry-level variant could be equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission.
