What is ABS and why is it required in the vehicle?

Braking system has to be one of the most important aspects in Motor vehicle. Brake system is known for saving thousands of lives. The ABS (Antilock Braking System) is important part of braking system.  The Main purpose of Antilock Braking System (ABS) is to keep the wheels from locking up and to prevent an uncontrollable skid and decreases stopping distances on dry and slippery surfaces and helps their drivers to maintain the control of steering. It enables the wheels of car to maintain the contact with the earth ground so that they don’t go into an uncontrolled skid.
